Since its first series in 1999, over 2,400 universities and institutions from 56 countries have participated in the exhibition and showcased their educational opportunities to over 1.47 million visitors. CIEET has been acknowledged as one of the most influential international education events with years of intensive branding.
As a national organization for international scholarly exchange, Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) has organized 15 sessions of the China Study Abroad Forum (CSAF) since 2004. As the prelude of the China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET), CSAF serves as a platform that enables dialogues among partners to promote international exchanges and cooperation. It is also recognized as a top-level study abroad event in China.
China Study Abroad Forum 2020 (CSAF 2020) was organized online on August 7th. The theme this year is “Openness, Collaboration and ?Innovation— Thriving in the Evolving Landscape of International Education”. The Forum invited representatives of government, leading educational organizations, established universities, educational research institutes at home and abroad for insights from all parties.
More than 10,000 candidates are taking CSCSE-SQA HND courses in the twenty centers approved by SQA and CSCSE. The programme offers courses in Business, Computer Science, Hospitality and Tourism, Supply Chain Management, and Engineering. There are over 30 awards being delivered now in China.
Study Abroad Training Center Program was jointly launched in 2007 by Chinese Center for Scholarly Exchange and Chinese higher education institutions. Currently, the number of cooperative domestic higher education institution is 50 and overseas higher education institutions have reached approximately 300 from 20 countries.
So far IGEC Program consists of 24 GE courses covering four areas: Academic English and Critical Thinking, Natural Sciences, Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences. It not only provides a menu of high-quality courses from which to choose, but also ensures that courses are related to each other to produce an integrated learning experience. The goal of IGEC program is to equip Chinese students with solid background to pursue their career, enjoy their lives, and ultimately become cultivated persons.
All students in this program should meet admission standards of partner institutions through National College Entrance Examination. Students will take GE courses during their first two years of undergraduate studies; then they either go to foreign universities to study as an exchange student for one to two semesters or to continue their study in China for the bachelor degree
